TriviaEdit

The services are located on the northbound side of the A31, a couple of miles south of Hogs Back South Services, its southbound partner.

The services first opened in the 1980s and was home to a Happy Eater restaurant and a filling station. A mile south was the Hogs Back Little Chef which dated back to the 1960s. In 1993, the Hogs Back Bypass was built and the Little Chef had closed. However, it was transferred to Hogs Back North in 1996/97 when then owners, Granada, had converted the Happy Eater into a Little Chef as it was discovered that it made more money. In 2004/05, the Little Chef closed and was demolished when the Esso filling station was rebuilt. The old Little Chef is now a picnic area and the car park is now part of the filling station.

There are a couple of houses on site and there was another building which stood next to the Little Chef. This was also demolished.

The Legacy Hotel was formerly a Ramada Jarvis
